Reasons for Exploration

The main reason for Erik's explorations wasbecause Norway had banished him

from their kingdom, so he had no where to go. He then began exploring fornew

land to colonize (create a settlement), from this he found lots of land and

explored it for many years, he gota lot of crew and colonizers and he eventually

colonized Greenland. For the next few years he explored somemore and found

Iceland,he was then known as the viking explorer who colonized Greenland.
